Match Preview and Opinions : Bolton v Manchester united

Bolton Wanderers

In my opinion Owen Coyle had the toughest transfer window summer after Arsene Wenger. Owen Coyle was all around the saga of Gary Cahill linked with a move to Arsenal and he was done and dusted by the reporters always asking him whether the deal has been done or cancelled. But now since the transfer window has been slammed shut, Mr. Coyle can now be ready to think of the next step and can think of coaching the team with the current players he has plus some signings he and the board did over the summer. The good news were at the end, that the Englishman Gary Cahill did not move so which means he is still a Bolton Wanderers player hence being committed to the club until the next transfer window slams open. Bolton can now regain their senses back and should bounce back with a bang against Manchester United. This match will show us if Gary Cahill is truly committed to the club or not and whether he really wanted to leave or not.

Bolton Wanderers face a tough task this weekend as they host Manchester United at the Reebok Stadium. The home side have enjoyed a mixed start to their Premier League campaign having won one out of their three games so far this season.

The visitors on the other hand have made a blistering start to their campaign and in their last league outing trounced Arsenal 8-2 at Old Trafford. With the likes of Ashley Young and Wayne Rooney in top form the Champions will be a danger to any opposition.

Bolton will be boosted by the news that in-demand centre-back Gary Cahill didn’t leave on transfer deadline day. The England defender was expected to leave the Reebok for pastures new but a move failed to materialise.
Manchester United- Man Utd

Manchester United or also known by most of the fans all around the world as Man Utd or Man U are in massive top form by not only winning all their three beginning matches of the season but by winning them comfortably. The last match against Arsenal was a drubbing of 8-2 at the theater of dreams which marked a point to all the Barclays Premier League teams that Manchester United or Man utd is no longer a toy team and they are here to win all the trophies this season. Man Utd did not buy much players this season. They just brought in the goalkeeper David De Gea, Ashley Young and Phil Jones but those three players are having a time of their life and are really boosting up their careers. They are in top form at the moment. To me, by far Ashley Young was the best player signed by any Premier League team this summer transfer window. It looks a very comfortable win for Man Utd, but let us see if they can win against Bolton convincingly or not.

However, United will know that Bolton are not an easy team to beat and the Wanderers tend to raise their game when the big boys come to the Reebok Stadium. Trotters boss Owen Coyle is encouraging his side to play a passing game and it paid dividends last season.

Man utd or Manchester United’s manager Sir Alex Ferguson has lots of options available to him for this clash. The big decision is likely to be whether to select experienced defender Rio Ferdinand or stick with promising youngster Phil Jones at the heart of his defence.

One player who is unlikely to feature is young striker Danny Welbeck, who pulled a hamstring in that hammering of Arsenal.
